Special Prompt #5 – Ezra

I break through the door, not looking back. I climb up the stairs and rush to the big grand gold door. I try opening the door, as the handle slips off the socket and rolls down the stairs. I follow after it and I lose it after the stair turn.

“Looking for this?.”

I turn around and stare intently at the door handle.

“What are you running from?”

I gaze at the handle, “my mum.” I say menacingly. “Just give me the door handle and there won’t be trouble.”

The door grumbles, as a big menacing monster steps in.

  1. Hi Ezra,
This is a very cleverly written story. The amount of descriptive detail and language that you’ve used is impressive, and clearly conveys your talent in writing. This was very enjoyable to read, well done.

    Keep up the good work,
    Anna (Team 100WC, Edinburgh)
