Special Prompt #4 – William C

Tick, tock, tick, tock…        That was the noise of the explosive bomb I was trying my best to disarm at the time, sweat was gushing down my side. This was the most dangerous thing I had done, I NEEDED to be careful. I was breathing heavily, the sound of my breath was the only thing I could hear.

Meanwhile, on the other side of the world.

A scientist by the name of Professor Tion was walking by his big red button that said: DETONATE WORLD, and accidentally dropped his morning coffee on it, destroying the world as we know it…

  1. Hello William C,

The tension you were able to build in your first paragraph was very impressive. It shared the possible feelings and experiences of a person with a very dangerous task. Very well done.
Reading on, I started to believe there was a scientist with an evil plan… but… no, he was just clumsy. Wait… why did he have something that could destroy the world? We’ll never know.
