Sadly , the heat was unbearable, so I had to do the unthinkable,I had to get in the water.Nervously, I dipped my toes in the freezing, ice cold water, slowly starting to emerge myself.Carefully, I stepped deeper into the ocean.Suddenly, I tripped SPLASH in a hole and fell to the sea floor.Luckily, someone was nearby and saw me fall the quickly ran to my rescue I noticed it was my dad who was terrified of water, faced his fear to save my life.Worriedly, my dad pulled me out of the water and took me home…Safely.
Walking along the beach, Sandy chases the ball into the sea water. Sand squishing in between our toes, the sound of the waves crashing among the rocks, seagulls chirping.
“Ha ha ha ha ha, Lily,” Mia giggled
“What?” I said.
“Why are seagulls called ‘Seagulls’?” Mia asked in a joke-like voice.
“I don’t know, why?” I said sarcastically.
“I’ll tell you why, Because if they were named after the bay they would be called ‘bAyGuLl’s’. Ha ha ha ha!” Mia bursted out with laughter.
“Ha ha, very funny,” I said smiling.
As we walked along the rocks and sand. Sandy had some unexpecting news, if you don’t know Sandy’s our dog.
“Why does Sandy have a lump in her tummy?” Mia questioned. “Wait, where’s the ball?”
“Oh no!” I gasped.
“SANDY ATE THE RAINBOW BALL!!!” We both screamed.
2 hours later.
It was so hot now I could just jump in the water, the heat was unbearable, so we went to go get ice cream, then……POPPPPPPP………
What’s the most dangerous activity, most would say mountain climbing, some would say racing but I have the most dangerous job. Most people would just have a normal job 9 till 5 while im getting lava FROM A VOLCANO, why you might be asking its so the government will know when the next eruption is which is VERY IMPORTANT for smaller countries.
So here I am inside a volcano with no daylight, no grass, just a suit and a tent which in my situation is not very ideal. While most people will be driving cars, selling toys, I’m inside a volcano with minimal air, minimal water and the heat was unbearable, so I gave it one last attempt…
“Ahhh, mum? Can you turn the aircon up? It’s soooo hot in here!” I moaned. It was exactly 53 degrees out-side and 43 in-side.
“Stop moaning, it’s not like I’m hot.” she groaned. I could tell by the face that she was hot too.
“You can go into the pool if you like.” She continued.
I jumped out of my seat and ran up the stairs. I found my new togs and slipped them on. Rummaging through my boxes, I finally found my new goggles.
The heat was unbearable, so before mum could say to me that I needed a cap, I jumped in the pool.
“Ahhhh, much better!”
Exhausted from running up the stairs, I fell flat on my bed. It was the evening, but the heat was unbearable, so I put my togs on ready to have a swim. I raced down stairs and opened the door, only to remember how hot it really was. Determined I was, I really couldn’t survive in this heat. So I raced out and jumped in the pool. When I reached the surface, I quickly jumped out to go and get the diving sticks. I threw the diving sticks in the pool and jumped in quickly after. This is the first time I knew what glory felt like.
