100WC – Week #36 – Casey

I slowly forced my eyes open, I was in a pitch black room with the smell of dust hovering over me.

The room was filled with silence until a strange noise appeared.

Suddenly the room came into sight, but where was I?

“Ah Mr Black someone would like to see you, perhaps you have something to tell us.” a low pitched voice said from behind me. I really didn’t want to look behind me but I felt the urge to, so I did.

“Sorry Sir, I don’t know what you’re talking about and where am I,” I said, really confused.

“I’m the boss of the FBI agency also known as the leader of the police force and…”

“Could you please just tell me where I am?” I interrupted.

“YOU,ha about time you asked your in jail”.

“WHAT” I screamed.

  1. There is some excellent description in your story, Casey. I particularly like ‘a pitch black room’ and ‘a low pitched voice’ I also like the way your story is obviously part of a bigger story and you leave your reader wanting more! The conversation in the story is clear and easy to follow and brings the story alive.
