100WC – Week #30 – Leo

While I was just walking down the busy streets in Barcelona when a sudden wind gushed over me. Suddenly all the street lights dimmed and everything went quiet. There’s a small light in the distance I head over to it. But I was confused so I angled myself so I could see around the buildings I felt my spine shiver like there was a hunk of ice against my body all I see is a iron. It was connected to a power socket then I realised there were no busy streets it was all quiet and everyone was gone. When I unplugged the cord everything was back, for now!.

  1. Hi, Leo! I loved your piece! One thing I liked was the extreme detail you put in. One thing you could work on is when you put “A Iron.” in American English at least when there’s an “a” before a vowel, it turns into “an”. One question is why did he feel a chill down his spine? Either way, This was posted by Liam from Illinois, USA.

  2. Hello Leo,
You have shared an interesting story about an adventure in Barcelona but I wondered where the iron in the prompt photo would come in. With dimming street lights and a shiver from a hunk of ice against your body, you saw the iron. Well done.
