100WC – Week #2 – Olivia

In a dark place with gunshots and lots of cannons, I lay very cold and quiet. I roll over and dig through out my bag in search of my calendar. I pull out a very minuscule amount of money I put it back in.Finally I pull my calendar out, but it’s covered in white sticky washing tape. I stop and look and what day it is.

The next day…

I awoke in a dull and cold trench.

¨Is anyone there?¨ I said with shivers up and down my spine.

I couldn’t see anyone so I stood up…….

BOOM!!!

  1. Hi Olivia,
You’ve written a great story this week. I really like the air of mystery as you don’t tell us directly where the action takes place. The cliff hanger at the end is also intriguing.
    Excellent writing! Well done!

  2. Hello Olivia, well your story is a bit of a mystery. You keep the reader interested by giving them a few clues to keep them interested but not too many. I think you have chosen some great words (especially in the last part of your story) that makes your story interesting. Words like, “dull and cold”, “shivers” and “spine” really set the scene. Well done.
